We didn’t want to just bring the Naukri.com website to the small screen of mobile phones. We wanted you to be able to conduct all the four major activities - get jobs, apply to them, email your resume, and update your profile - from your mobile phone, even if the mobile phone does not have a GPRS/internet connection.
So, for members of Naukri.com who have a GPRS connection, we have introduced the WAP site at m.naukri.com. For those who prefer a widget on their phone, we have the downloadable Naukri Mobile Application. For members who do not have a GPRS/internet connection in their phones, we have the SMS Tools - JobsOnSMS to get jobs matching your profile, SMS Apply to apply to jobs, ExpressCV to email your resume, and CVNotes for micro-updates to your profile. You can also choose to hide your CVNotes from recruiters. You can use CVNotes as a repository of your achievements to be used for your annual appraisal. Just refer to CVNotes for your big and small achievements during the year, print them out, and show it to your manager during apprasial time. Now, you needn’t leave anything to your memory, or miss out on documenting any of your achievements.

Sometimes you want to apply to a job but may not have access to the Naukri.com website. How, then, would you apply to that job? That’s when you can use SMS Apply. Now, you can now apply to jobs from your mobile without going to the website. You’ll be surprised by the number of situations when this comes in incredibly handy. Here are some we could think of:

While searching for jobs on Naukri.com, Featured Company logos appear in most of the cases on the top right hand side in search results. By looking at these logos it appears as if these are some banner advertisement, but in reality these logos contain jobs matching your requirement.
Let’s understand the simple logic behind appearance of Featured Company logos - conduct a search by entering your search criteria. Jobs appear as search results but in Featured Companies only those companies appear whose jobs are there in search results based on search query entered by you. And yes, on clicking the company’s logo from this section, you are shown the jobs posted by that company which is relevant to you.
So, next time when you search, don’t hesitate to explore this section which simply acts as company cluster for the result set. Sometimes when a job opportunity comes up you may not have your CV with you or you may not have access to the internet. So, how do you, then, email your CV to the recruiter? We decided to solve this problem, and the solution is Naukri ExpressCV. Now you don’t need a computer, or internet, or even email to send your CV to a recruiter! All you need is your mobile phone.
